TO GET STARTED, you need 3 things:

  • A specific culture or social group.

  • A specific location.blog_group_of_people_1.jpg

  • A current issue surrounding that group.

HOW?

Take a look at the list of topics provided to you in class. Choose an issue that you are genuinely interested in. Research each the issue using the databases Ms. Thurston (our teacher-librarian) shows you in class, to discover specifically where in the world, and to who, these issues are relevant today.

OR TRY THIS:

Is there a current event that has been getting a lot of news coverage lately? The social group that you might focus on will be the those involved in or affected by the event. You have all three criteria, in one easy swoop.
